One that you might not expect to have an accepted pet policy is the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa. If you are looking for a single location that truly has it all, the Westgate Resort might just be it. It has a Gatlinburg address but is located only 4 miles south of Pigeon Forge on route 321. When visiting the Pigeon Forge area, this actually makes it the perfect place since you are almost smack dab in the middle between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you do take your pet to the Westgate, there are some policies that you need to adhere to, like:
- Only One Cat or Dog is Allowed
- 60 lbs or less
- Some Breeds are not allowed
- Pet Deposit is required
- Additional Cleaning Fee if needed
- Pet’s are to be supervised at all times
- Service Animals are permitted at all locations on the resort where pets are prohibited from areas like Restaurants, Pool areas and Game Rooms

Another Pet Friendly option near Pigeon Forge but actually in a Pet Friendly Hotel in Gatlinburg is the Brookside Resort. It has a couple of nice Outdoor Pools with a beautiful Waterfall and a couple of small water slides. It will keep the kids happy and cool for there stay. This resort is broken up in to 3 different areas. The 2-Story Creekside location is the section of the resort that allows pets. It also has its very own Doggie Park for you to take you best friend out an play.

If you plan to bring your pet along, it is always a good idea to check with the front desk and see if their policies are the same. There is not much worse than showing up and having to find a kennel because something has changed.
