Be Amazed at the Ripleys Aquarium

You might not be anywhere near an ocean but you will feel like you are when you enter the fantastic undersea world of the Ripley’s Aquarium. This is no small adventure either, take in the sights of 10,000 creatures from the sea from more than 350 different species. You will get to see the world under the sea up close and personal. Watch as Sharks and Giant Turtles swim by while walking around in Clear Underwater Tunnels throughout the Aquarium.

What you would expect from Ripley’s

As you would expect from a Ripley’s exhibit, there is so much more to be seen than just the aquarium. Take a walk through a beautiful Tropical Rainforest where you will see creatures that you might not see elsewhere. Have you ever seen Piranhas up close, you will when you visit the Rainforest. What about the beautifully colored Poisonous Dart Frogs? Did you know that there is an animal with four eyes?

Sharks!

What would an Aquarium exhibit be without Sharks. They are so mesmerizing because of their size and strength. It is amazing to watch these creatures in their own habitat with other fish and sea creatures around. There are so many different species of Sharks that you will see. You also have the opportunity to see the Sandtiger Shark. If you would like, you can schedule in an entire night with these creatures. Spend the night at Ripley’s and enjoy a Dive Show, a scavenger hunt and other night activities while having Sharks all around you.

Amazing Discoveries

Enjoy the beauty of the Coral Reef with the bright colors and dancing underwater Coral. The ocean comes to live with all of the vibrant colors and movements that you will see. If you have ever wanted to touch a Stingray, there is an area of shallow water that multiple Stingrays swim and you are allowed to touch them as they glide by. Don’t worry, there will be someone on hand to show you the right way to touch a Ray and answer any questions that you might have. Penguins are always the highlight of an exhibit and you can find them at the Penguin Playhouse.

Live Shows

There are so many things to learn when you are at the Ripley’s Aquarium. It is always nice to learn things by watching someone else who has experience. This can be seen by many of the show opportunities at Ripley’s. Enjoy the Shark Lagoon Dive where you will see divers interacting with sharks and other sea creatures of the deep. The Penguin Feeding is always a wonderful thing to watch as well and you will also learn many things about Penguins and the challenges they face.
