When you stay at the Timber Lodge Pigeon Forge Tn, you are getting the best of 2 worlds. Even though this is a hotel with many different Rooms and Suites, it also has the appearance of a large Mountain Top Cabin. This just adds to the appeal and gives you somewhat of a Cabin type setting while being in the middle of the activities and action available around the Pigeon Forge Tennessee area.
On the Pigeon River
The Timbers Lodge is not a Water Park Hotel nor does it have any Water Slides or Lazy River but what it does have is a location right on the Little Pigeon River. Since, there are not a lot of accommodations Near the River we felt that we should include Timber Lodge Pigeon Forge, Tn which is located directly on the Little Pigeon River. If you stay in one of the rooms on the back side of the Lodge, you will be able to look out or stand on the covered walkway to your room and listen to the river as it gently slips by. If you enjoy fishing and have a valid fishing license, you are even able to head out to the River and try your luck at the river.

If you do not have pets, it is probably a good idea to request one of the rooms that do not allow pets. The lodge works hard to keep things clean but if you have any pet allergies, it would be a good idea to stay in a room where pets are not allowed.
Rooms and Suites
There are a number of different room configurations to choose from when staying at the Timbers Lodge in Pigeon Forge. The Standard rooms come with the option of either 2 Queen Beds or a Single King. Each of the rooms have a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and TV. The Queen Bedrooms accommodate 4 guests where the King only provides room for 2. If you are looking to upgrade for some additional space or amenities, the Family Lofts are a good option. Therese rooms are very large and depending on the loft you select, you could have a Jacuzzi Tub or even a Kitchen to prepare some of your own meals. There is even a Honeymoon Suite for those special times or even if you are just in a Romantic mood.
Timber Lodge Reviews
Pros:
Most of the people who stay at the Timber Lodge are very pleased with their experience. While this is not a Luxury Hotel by any means, it is not presented as one either. This is supposed to be a comfortable stay away from home. It appears that for the most part, they work to keep the rooms clean and ready for guests as they visit the property. It is nice that the Timber Lodge is so close to the River and across the street you have access to the "Track" Amusement area. Being within walking distance to many of the outlets and shops are a plus. If you have a pet, this is a nice place to stay.
Cons:
Some of the guests found that the rooms were a little noisy due to the traffic outside. You can probably get away from some of the noise by staying in one of the rooms on the 3rd floor. Even though the Lodge offers a Continental breakfast, many of the guests were not impressed. It is a good thing that there are many places close by to get a good breakfast if you would like.

Outdoor Swimming Pool
The Outdoor Pool is located on the backside of the Timbers Lodge. It does not specify that it is a heated pool. Since it is only open between the months of April to September each year, I would guess that it is not. The pool has some chairs and tables located around the deck portion to enjoy the outdoors while the kids are splashing around.
Pet Friendly
Yes, the Timber Lodge is Pet Friendly. Not all of the rooms at the lodge accommodate pets but you are allowed to have up to 3 pets stay with you in the rooms that are Pet Friendly.
Fun around the Timber Lodge Motel
The Lodge is located right on E Wears Valley Road which connects to the Parkway (SR 321). If you are familiar with the area, you already know that this is the main road connecting all of the shops and restaurants in Pigeon Forge. It is also directly across the street from The Track Family Recreation Center where you can ride Go-Karts, play Mini-Golf and so much more.
Dining at the Timbers Lodge
You will not find a Restaurant at the Timbers Lodge in Pigeon Forge but they do offer Continental Breakfast in the mornings. It is nothing fancy and they do not have a large spread but it is something so you are able to start your day.
