Staying at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Pigeon Forge TN puts you directly on the Parkway. If you didn’t have the barrier of trees on the one side, you could easily see the Titanic Museum. You will be quite impressed with this structure when you pass by on your way to stay at the Pigeon Forge Howard Johnson. It is easy to walk to a number of the attractions and sitting directly on the Parkway put you in a great location to easily get around the area. The closest Fun Time Trolley is about 1/4th of a mile away, in front of the Wonderworks museum.
Guests really like staying in a room on the backside of the Howard Johnson Hotel since it is quieter and not directly on the main road.
Rooms and Suites
Rooms come in multiple configurations with Standard Rooms having two queen beds or a single King bed. There are also some suites with an indoor Jacuzzi suite making it very nice for that romantic stay.

Pros:
The location of the Howard Johnson Motel in Pigeon Forge is in a great location and we were able to walk to a number of attractions like the Titanic Museum and Wonderworks. The rooms were very clean and large and my wife and I had a nice time with the in-room Jacuzzi on a couple of cold evenings. The continental breakfast is just a standard fare but it is nice having a free, quick meal before heading out. The outdoor pool with water slide was a lot of fun for the kids.
Cons:
The indoor pool is very small and we felt that the room we stayed in was in dire need of a refresh. Next time I think we would stay at one of the rooms at the back of the building. The noise from the busy Parkway was quite loud at times and sleeping would be a lot better if there was less noise.

Fun Things to Do
There is not much more at the Howard Johnson other than the Outdoor, Indoor Pool with Water Slide and kids splash park. The Motel is very close to many attractions and it is easy to get around.
