The Resort at Governor’s Crossing and Water Park offers tons of water fun both indoor and outdoor. You and your family will find speed slides, hot tub, water games, an outdoor pool and lazy river. The small kiddies will love the children’s pool and the toddler splash and play zone as well as zero entry which makes the perfect setup for the smaller ones. What makes this water resort most unique than the others are the indoor Badu SwimJets. This indoor system works out great for those not wanting to be interrupted while swimming laps. It provides a low impact workout as you either swim walk or jog against the 5000 gallons per minute current. It kind of reminds you of a treadmill effect but in the water. The Finlandia Sauna is pretty cool as well. The floor heats these special rocks. When it becomes too dry all you have to do is pour water over the rocks for instant steam. So there are actually some aspects of this water resort that appeal to the adults. You don’t find that very often. Indoor Features: Toddler Play Zone, 2 Speed Slides, Zero Entry Pool, 20 Person Hot Tub, Badu SimJets, Water Umbrella, Finlandia Sauan, Water Basketball and Volleyball. Outdoor Features: 250 Foot Lazy River, Big Swimming Pool, Children’s Pool, Lumbejack Log Roll and Jacuzzi.

 PROS

Pros:
Overall the reviews on the Resort at Governor's Crossing are great. The penthouse fireplace rooms are superb. Kids love the poolside views. The higher floors have great views and tend to be very quiet. The Resort 2 building is convenient to the amenities such as being above the indoor pool area. The first floor patios rooms face a beautiful wooded area. Ask for a view if not you may end up getting a Walmart view. The upper rooms in the back of the building provide you with parkway and pool views. Poolside views are nice but you are also looking past a parking lot. Beware of the dumpster views.

 CONS

Cons:
When booking with an owner direct always verify if you will have access to the Waterpark amenities when not booking through the resort directly.
