While it is true that the The River Terrace Resort and Convention Center Gatlinburg Tn is not considered a Water Park Hotel, it does make the list because it is a Westgate Property. The reason it makes the list is that it offers a package giving you access to the Wild Bear Falls Indoor Water Park located at its sister Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort. Always be sure to check with the Hotel front desk before booking to make sure they are still offering this as an option. Although the River Terrace Resort in Gatlinburg only has an Outdoor Pool on it premises, all you have to do is hop in your car and travel up to the Smoky Mountain Resort and gain access to the Indoor Water Slides, Lazy River and Kids splash park. Also note that if you have more than 2 people staying, you will have to purchase additional tickets to the Water Park as they will not be included in the overnight rate.
River Views at the River Terrace Resort
One of the main reasons guests enjoy the River Terrace Resort and Convention Center Gatlinburg Tn is the views of the Cliff Branch River running right along side. Get a room overlooking the River and even dine outside while listening to the Cliff Branch River flowing by. The sights and sounds alone are worth the visit.

Westgate River Terrace Resort Accommodations
All of the rooms are the same size, 252 square feet but there are a few configuration to choose from. The Standard King and Queen Rooms have either 2 Queen Beds or a single King. These rooms place you on the front side of the buildings and do not give you any views of the River. If you want to be able to step out on your private balcony and overlook the River, be sure to book the River View queen room or the River View King. Another great reason to book the River View King is the beautiful stone fireplace to keep you warm on cooler evenings.
