Riverstone Resort and Spa Reviews
Pros:
It has to be a pretty nice place with these approval ratings. If you look at the above average responses and take in to account that they make up 90% of guests who have commented, it gives you a good feeling, even before you visit. Most guests really enjoy the actual location of the Riverstone Resort. It is close to everything since it is less than a block from the main road through Pigeon Forge and it is on Dollywood Lane, giving you a direct shot to the Theme Park if you are so inclined. The large Condos make it nice for big families to have their own space while not stepping on others around them. Having a Kitchen is a huge advantage. The money you save alone by eating in from time to time make this a wonderful place to visit. The indoor pool is nice and the 2 Indoor Hot Tubs make for a very relaxing visit. The outdoor Lazy River is not huge but it is plenty big to add some relaxation and fun to the trip.
Cons:
There are very few negatives brought up about the Resort at Riverstone but there are some who do not think the beds are as comfortable as they should be. They also felt that the walls are a little thin as you can hear your neighbor, if they are the noisy type. Other guests had a terrible experience. The amenities might not be as many as you would find at other resorts.

Majesty all around
No matter where you stay in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area, you can’t get away from the glorious views of the Smoky Mountains. This is one of the main reasons people come to visit. Staying at the Riverstone Resort in Pigeon Forge is nestled in a perfect location and allows you to take in all of the nature around you from walks on the Little Pigeon River to Hikes in the surrounding mountains.
Indoor Pool and Outdoor Lazy River
Water Amenities are wonderful at the Riverstone Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge. It doesn’t matter what time of year or what the weather is like, the heated indoor pool offers a fun environment for the family. On either side of the Indoor pool you can relax in one of the 2 family sized Hot Tubs. If it is in the summer time, you can also enjoy the large 275 foot Lazy River. This river has cascading waterfalls to add to the enjoyment and also keep you cool during the heat of the summer.
Mountain Views
There are many views available depending on the type of condo you are staying in. If you want the best views, you might ask for a Condo with Mountain or River Views. Building 2 is across from the pool and makes this a convenient location if you have kids who swim a lot.
Riverstone Spa
This is one of the amenities that makes this resort a 4-star property. Get away from it all and pamper yourself at the on-site Spa located in the Riverstone Pigeon Forge Resort. Get a gentle or deep massage and let your muscles get the relaxing break that they deserve. You do a lot for your kids, it is time to take a little extra special care of yourself. If you want to make it a special day with your important other, schedule a spa treatment for two.
Gatlinburg Golf Club
The Riverstone Resort does not own the Gatlinburg Golf Course but it is built directly on its fairways. Enjoy the golfers in the morning from your private balcony or talk to someone at the front desk to get a scheduled tee time and enjoy the course yourself.
Dining
There is no Dining at the Riverstone Resort. This is surprising, as you normally have a restaurant on a resort property. There are plenty of local dining options within a short walk or drive.
