Don’t rule out the Suites in Sevierville Tn if you are visiting the Pigeon Forge area. Sure, it might not be as well known but that shouldn’t stop you from staying. In fact, that might be all the more reason to look a few miles to the North at the Sevierville Suites. That way, you are just a short, few minute drive away from all of the action but you can get away from it as well and have a more peaceful stay when you would like.
Many options if you want more Water Fun
Incredibly enough, there are more Resorts with Suites in Sevierville that have Water Parks that you will find in Pigeon Forge. The largest would have to be the Wilderness at the Smokies that offer many different room options from smaller Stuido Suites up to 2 Bedroom Suites that can sleep up to 15 guests. There are even rooms that have their own In-room Jacuzzi or Fireplace. This can make things very cozy during your stay. What is really amazing about this Resort is the fact that it has 3 full Water Parks. Yes, I said 3! Not only that, 1 of them is an Indoor Water Park. There is no way that you can get bored if you stay at the Wilderness at the Smokies. At the Indoor Water Park alone you have incredible fun options like an Indoor Wave Pool, multiple Water Slides and even a Surf Rider. This is all before you get to the Outdoor options. Think of how much there is to do during the warm months of the year. It is worth mentioning that the Water Parks at the Wilderness are not open to the Public. In order to join in on the fun you must book a room at the resort.
Another Resort that you might want to take a look at is the Resort at Governor’s Crossing. While not quite as large as the Wilderness, it is still pretty impressive with its Indoor and Outdoor Water Park area. There are 2 Twisting enclosed Water Slides that take you outside of the main building and back in when they dump you into the splash down area. Another, smaller Water Slide is available at the outdoor pool area and adds extra fun on those warmer days where you want to be out in the sun. There is also a nice size Outdoor Lazy River that the family will enjoy.
